Risk Officer

As a risk officer at R8RISK, you will be expected to have a strong foundation in risk management principles and practices, and to be able to apply them to a wide range of business contexts. R8RISK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced risk officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing risks to the organization. As a risk officer at R8RISK, you will be expected to have a strong foundation in risk management principles and practices, and to be able to apply them to a wide range of business contexts. You should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and manage risks to the organization, including financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures Collaborate with other members of the organization to identify and assess risks, and to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies Monitor and report on risks to senior management and the board of directors Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in risk management Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in a related field such as finance, risk management, or business administration Master's degree in a related field is preferred 3+ years of experience in a risk management role, with a strong track record of success Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners Experience: Professional certification in risk management, such as the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or the Financial Risk Manager (FRM), is preferred Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus
