Our executive team brings a breadth of industry experience, providing expert leadership for the R8RISK team and long-term value for our clients.
R8RISK was founded and is led by Ali M Tarbhai, with an in-depth and long working history within the Financial Services, Insurance, and Risk Management industries and along with a strong technical IT background, Ali is building R8RISK from a vision to create a more resilient world – one that serves to enable and build humanity based on real trust and integrity as opposed to the current regime most of the world appear to be entrapped in. A world of inequality, misinformation and cannibalistic corporatism.
A native of Canada, Ali is fluent in English and French, he also possesses working proficiencies in Spanish, Creole, Hindi, and Guajarati. His prior work history includes Swiss Re, Birkett-Hassard Insurance Brokers, Aviva Insurance Company, Intact Insurance, TD Canada Trust and various other organizations both small and large.
Ali has held multiple Insurance licenses always in good standing; RIBO (Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario) and AIC (Alberta Insurance Council) licences, as some of the successfully achieved licences. Furthermore, Ali is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) recognized by the Toronto Chapter of the Insurance Institute of Canada as well as a holder of the Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation and member of GRMI (Global Risk Management Institute), and ACS of LOMA.
Ali’s current focus and objective is growing R8RISK to a point where it is identified as one of the leaders in it’s space. As CEO, and lead consultant – he is taking his vision to transform an industry that has let down so many and that profits off the pain and misery of the people/groups they were originally designed to protect.
